Concurrent Enrollment

The Concurrent Enrollment option offers a streamlined path for qualified ADN students to seamlessly transition to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. The program allows you to simultaneously take ADN and BSN classes. Earning a BSN expands your career options, increases earning potential, improves patient outcomes, fulfills employer requirements, and prepares you for future graduate studies.

Requirements for Admission

  1. Complete the Texas core curriculum and lower-level requirements with grades of C or higher in each course:
    • ENGL 1301 and 1302*
    • MATH 1342 OR equivalent*
    • BIOL 2401 and 2402 and 2420*
    • HIST 1301 and 1302
    • PSCI 2301 and 2302 OR 2305 and 2306
    • ENGL 2322 OR PHIL 1301 OR PHIL 1302 OR equivalent
    • PSYC 2301 and 2314*
    • COSC 1301 OR equivalent
    • SPCH 1315 OR 1318 OR Equivalent (not required if Texas Core complete prior to admission
    • CHEM 1405 OR 1406 OR BIOL 1322 OR equivalent*
    • 3 credit hour Creative Art course in Arts, Drama, or Music
  2. Earn a minimum overall and science GPA of 2.5
  3. Show proof of admission into one of our CE partner ADN programs
  4. Complete the application for undergraduate admission at Apply Texas

Online RN-BSN/CE Curriculum

Requires 30 semester hours of A&M-Victoria nursing courses in addition to associate degree in nursing requirements.
