Log into Canvas
Login to canvas.uhv.edu using your regular credentials.
To review the maintenance times, sign into the Canvas LMS and click Account + Settings and review the listed maintenance schedule under the Time Zone option.

September 1, 2026 6:37 AM - ISSUE RESOLVED - Canvas LMS SaaS Issue
Instructure was able to resolve the instability issue yesterday with the Canvas LMS by around 6:00 p.m. (CST). Access to the Canvas LMS and all the Canvas LMS features and options should have been working again as of yesterday, Monday, August 31, 2026, at approximately 6:00 p.m. (CST). We apologize for any inconvenience.
August 31, 2026 2:07 PM - Canvas LMS SaaS Issue
The Instructure vendor is reporting issues in the Canvas LMS that may be impacting students and faculty. Users may be experiencing slow responsiveness inside the Canvas LMS and/or the inability to access certain Canvas features or options. Instructure is investigating the issue and the status can be monitored from the Instructure "Status" website at https://status.instructure.com/. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The Texas A&M University-Victoria Fall 2026 semester begins Monday, August 24, 2026. Please review the important Fall 2026 semester information below regarding access to Canvas courses.
- Tuesday, August 18, 2026: first day new students registered for Canvas online courses for the Fall regular & 8W1 terms can log into Canvas
- Monday, August 24, 2026: first day students can access Canvas online course information for the Fall regular & 8W1 terms
- Tuesday, October 13, 2026: first day new students registered for Canvas online courses for the Fall 8W2 term can log into Canvas
- Monday, October 19, 2026: first day students can access Canvas online course information for the Fall 8W2 term
- Not sure if you are registered for a regular, 8W1, or 8W2 term course...check the Texas A&M University-Victoria course offerings page and search for your specific course to find out
- To resolve issues, confirm you're successfully registered for a Canvas online course, you're accessing information on the correct date (see above), you've changed your pre-expired password; check with your Online Support Technician for help and assistance

The deadline for the Texas A&M University-Victoria Fall 2026 graduation application is Friday, October 9, 2026.
