Students put new spin on DIY fidget spinner workshop
Business freshman Amari Rodriguez, left, works alongside nursing freshman Braeden Lara, right, to make their own fidget spinners during the DIY Fidget Spinners event on Thursday, Oct. 1 inside University Commons at Texas A&M University-Victoria. Hosted by Student Involvement, the event gave students a hands-on way to explore their creative side to create their own personalized fidget spinners. Students began with a spinner mold and its components, along with a cup of resin. They then customized their creation by choosing resin dyes and added glitter or decorative flakes. The workshop is part of the department's effort to offer students fun opportunities for creative expression, as well as other popular activities that have brought students together.
